Custom Cabinetry in Toronto.
Designed for your space. Built in our factory. Installed by our team. A full-service custom cabinetry manufacturer based in Toronto, serving the Greater Toronto Area since 1997.
The quality of custom cabinetry begins with the materials.
We select every substrate, hardware component, and finishing product for long-term performance and aesthetic integrity.
01
Frameless (European-style) construction
Eliminates the face frame to maximize usable interior space. Cabinet boxes built from premium plywood and MDF substrates, chosen based on application and finish requirements.
02
Door styles & exotic wood species
Shaker, flat veneer, high-gloss lacquer, or natural wood - walnut, cherry, zebrano. For versatility, grain direction, and visual depth.
03
premium finishes
Every painted surface finished using premium paint systems. Scratch, stain, and chemical-resistant to a degree far beyond stock cabinet finishes.
04
Hardware as standard - not an upgrade
Full-extension soft-close drawer slides and European concealed hinges come standard. For handle-free designs, Blum electric auto-open systems are available.
Who We Work With
Homeowners, designers, and the trades.
Our client base spans homeowners, condo owners, custom home builders, general contractors managing multi-trade renovations, and multi-generational repeat clients who have returned to us over the years - all across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
For most projects involving cabinetry and countertops, prices range from $7,000 for compact spaces (like a condo kitchen or large vanity run) up to $35,000 or more for full-scale estate projects. The final cost is primarily determined by your choice of finish (painted vs. stained) and the complexity of the door profile (flat panel vs. shaker vs. Imperial).
The typical manufacturing timeline is six to eight weeks from the finalization of the design to installation. While the total process takes time, the actual on-site disruption is minimal. Demo and preparation usually take 4-6 days, cabinet installation takes 2-3 days, and countertop templating/install takes another 2 days.
Both have their place. We typically use solid wood for door faces because of its natural durability and the ability to touch up the finish. MDF is excellent for painted cabinetry because it provides a perfectly smooth surface, and our MDF is sealed with a protective layer to resist moisture. It really depends on your desired look and usage requirements.
Yes, we are a one-stop shop. We provide all the hardware and coordinate the fabrication and installation of countertops. We work with granite, quartz, marble, and other premium stones to ensure that every element of your cabinetry fits perfectly.
Every piece we build is manufactured right here in Toronto. We handle everything in-house - from CNC machining and assembly to premium paint application and final hardware installation. This local control ensures a level of quality and accountability that importers simply can't match.
From kitchens to vanities to floor-to-ceiling wall units, Apico builds every piece in our Ontario factory - so the cabinetry across your whole home carries the same hand, the same hardware, and the same finish system.
