What began as one craftsman's vision in 1997 has grown into a trusted name in bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing - with over 1,000 completed projects and a reputation built entirely on quality, integrity, and personal service.

Apico Kitchens was founded in 1997 by Apic Imasdounian, a cabinetmaker with over 40 years of hands-on experience in the custom cabinetry industry. The company's name is a nod to the man behind it - "Apico" is what friends, colleagues, and clients have always called him, and it felt only right that the business carries the personal touch.
Apic built this company from the ground up with a clear conviction: that homeowners deserve cabinetry designed and built to the highest standards, delivered with genuine care and transparency. That conviction has never wavered.
A short timeline.
1985 - PresentApic begins his career in the custom cabinetry industry.
Apico Kitchens is founded. Named for Apic's workshop nickname.
Expands into custom vanities and full-wall-unit construction. Premium spray-finishing line installed.
Over 1,000 completed GTA projects. BILD Award finalist. NKBA and BILD members.
Thirtieth year. Apic still leads every project, from consultation to final walkthrough.

Everything we deliver is built in one place, by one team, to one standard. Here is what happens between the drawings and your door.
Precision cutting
Every panel starts on our CNC machinery, cut to exact dimensions before assembly begins. Precision at the first cut is what keeps doors, drawers, and reveals aligned at the last.
Controlled finishing
Our temperature and humidity controlled spray booth applies premium paint systems in multiple coats, with sanding between each one. We use water-based, environmentally friendly stains and offer low-VOC options.
Frameless construction
Cabinets are built with frameless European construction from premium plywood and MDF - no face frames, just clean, full-access boxes.
Hand inspection
Every piece is hand-inspected before it leaves the factory. And it is the same factory every time - the one that builds every kitchen, vanity, and wall unit we deliver.

Our Mobile Showroom - we come to you.
Choosing materials should not involve a trip to a distant showroom. Our mobile showroom brings samples, swatches, and hardware options to your home so you can see finishes in your own lighting.
